Terms & Conditions.

These commission terms explain how timelines, previews, revisions, and usage work — so you know what to expect.
 

  • All artwork is original and crafted by Yushu Studio.

  • Pieces are inspired by anime and personal themes, but are not direct reproductions or customised from any copyrighted source material.

  • Your submitted preferences guide the creative direction, but final composition remains at the artist’s discretion.

    Delivery & Fulfilment

  • After the design deposit clears, you will receive a design preview via email within the stated timeframe.

  • Delivery of physical all art is expected within two weeks from the date of design approval.

  • Please ensure your delivery address and contact details are accurate — Yushu Studio is not responsible for delays due to incorrect information.

  • For cancellation and alteration timeframes, please refer to the section below.

    Cancellation & Alterations

  • Customers may request alterations to the preview within 48 hours of receiving it.

  • If you choose not to proceed after viewing the preview and revisions, the design deposit is retained as payment for work already completed.

  • After this window, commissions are considered final and non-refundable.

  • Each tier includes a set number of free alterations: Standard: 2 alterations, Premium: 3 alterations, Collector: 4 alterations.

  • We encourage you to list all desired alterations in one response so we can make all changes at once. After we apply these revisions, we’ll send a final preview for your approval.

  • After the 48-hour revision window, the commission will proceed once the final design is approved and the remaining balance has been paid.

  • Production and delivery timelines begin after approval and full payment are received. Unapproved or unpaid designs will not be printed or delivered.

    Shipping & Tracking

  • Physical artwork is produced and dispatched following final design approval. Delivery times may vary depending on location and production schedules. Tracking information may not always be provided. If you experience any issues with delivery, please contact us and we’ll assist where possible.

    Payment & Confirmation

  • A 50% design deposit is required to begin your custom artwork.

  • Your design preview will be created after the deposit is received.

  • The remaining balance is payable once you approve the final design and before printing.
     

  • Commercial Use & Licensing

  • All commissioned artwork is intended for personal or decorative use only, unless otherwise agreed in writing.

  • For business-tier commissions intended for promotional or commercial purposes, a commercial usage license is included. If you need additional licensing terms or have specific commercial usage questions, please contact us to discuss your needs.

  • Commercial usage without prior agreement is not permitted.

    Resale & Reproduction

  • Commissioned pieces are created as one-off physical artworks and are intended for personal enjoyment or display.

  • You may not reproduce, resell, or distribute the artwork in any format — including scanning or photographing for resale — without written permission.

  • Yushu Studio retains the right to showcase commissioned pieces (with identifying details removed) for portfolio and promotional purposes.

    Data Privacy

  • All personal information (including uploaded images, contact details, and delivery address) is handled in accordance with UK data protection laws.

  • Your data is used solely for the purpose of fulfilling your commission and will never be shared or sold.

  • Uploaded files are stored securely and deleted after fulfilment unless otherwise agreed.
